There was a shooting incident at the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat at the party’s governorship candidate, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, arrived to a tumultuous welcome.

Fayemi, his wife, Bisi Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, deputy governorship candidate, Chief Bisi Egbeyemi escaped death.

A yet-to-be identified Mobile Policeman (MOPOL) fired shots which hit a former House of Representatives member, Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele and two others.

One of those who was hit by the bullet was feared dead but the trigger-happy cop was disarmed by angry party members and beaten.
