Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu has officially been announced as the President of the African Petroleum Producers’ Organization (APPO).
Kachikwu’s announcement was made on Monday at the opening ceremony of the Extraordinary Session of the Council of Ministers of APPO.
The minister replaced Chadian oil minister Michel Boukar.
Vice President Prof Yemi Osinbajo declared open the extraordinary session applauded the emergence of Dr. Kachikwu as the President.
