Celebrating The Comforter: Rev Mother Esther Ajayi Storms The US For Joint Crusade of CCC, C&S

+ Cautions Nigerians on Improper Immigration

Founder, New Generation Church of Christ, London, Rev Mother Esther Ajayi has appealed to Nigerians willing to attend the scheduled joint crusade of Cherubim & Seraphim with Celestial Church of Christ tagged Comfort the Comforter, in New York this week, to willingly return to Nigeria after the crusade.

She said on a Jokceebe FM radio, Houston-Texas programme, Alejo Ayo, that nobody would pick money on the street abroad.

She urged youths and anyone contemplating using the attendance of the event to stay in America illegally, to reconsider their decision because “there is no place like home”.

She added, “They have freedom in their country (Nigeria) and should cherish that freedom instead of choosing to be illegal immigrants.”

Rev. Mother Ajayi was in Texas with some of the planning committee members comprising of C&S and CCC members. They are out to create awareness towards successful hosting of the event. Some of them, including a leader, identified as Daddy Ayo Osho (CCC), also talked about the “great crusade” on the programme.

The ‘Comfort the Comforter’ awareness train is scheduled to arrive in Springdale, Maryland today in continuation of the awareness mission.

The Alejo Ayo programme was bombarded with calls from many people from various countries to show appreciation for the joint crusade which was inaugurated in London last year and their expectation of the second edition which is holding at the United Palace, New York.

Rev. Mother Ajayi also informed that her church, the New Generation Church of Christ will soon have branches in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, her Esther Ajayi Foundation is compiling lists of youths to be empowered at a designated place in Odogbolu in Ogun State, Nigeria. The empowerment of Nigerian youths in various vocations, trades and crafts have been ongoing for quite some time. This probably informed the several appreciation calls received by the Rev. Mother during the radio programme.

While answering a question on the radio programme, the Initiator of the joint revival, Rev Mother Ajayi said, “She had a dream of people wearing white garments and serving God in unity, and the message came to her that there should not be a division among the white garment churches.”

On the set goal of the joint crusade, she said that in an ever-growing and inter-dependent world, now seen as a ‘global village’ and characterized by war, terrorism, genocide, economic recession, fear, despair, uncertainty and signs of the last days, it was obvious that the world “is in dire need of a great revival”.

She added that ‘Celebrate the Comforter’ would proclaim the name of Jesus Christ, evangelize and pray for peace in the world and particularly pray for Nigeria and the United States of America.
