One of Nigeria’s most prominent monarchs, HRH Dr Appolus Chu, the Egbere Omere Okiri Eleme, Rivers State, added more feathers to his cap, as he bagged two awards recently. The first was the award of the Ambassador of Peace, which was bestowed on him at the 15th African Security Watch, Gambia; and the award of Excellence as Security Icon 2018 by Police Community Relations Committee, Rivers State Command.

Predictably, congratulatory messages from many eminent Nigerians, flooded Thisday Newspaper, showering love and adulation on this great monarch, whose impact as a vociferous voice and an advocate of communal peace and security cannot be denied.
