National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwsju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has rejoiced with the former Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Professor Modupe Adelabu on her 70th birthday.
Adelabu, who is currently the Chair of the National Board for Technical Education, was deputy governor of the state between May 8, 2013, and October 15, 2014.
Tinubu, in a letter he wrote to the celebrant, congratulated Adelabu on attaining the age of 79 and commended her for her outstanding service to her state and Nigeria.
The letter is hereby produced below;
“I heartily congratulate you on this occasion of your 70th birthday.
Attaining 70, the biblical three scores and ten age is an important milestone for exhibition I must join your family, friends and professional colleagues in giving gratitude to God.
At 70, you have done tremendously well for yourself, state and country.
You had made your name as an eminent academic, indeed a respected Professor of Education, before. You answered the call of your Ekiti-home state to be Chairperson of the state’s Universal Basic Education Board ( SUBEB).
The icing on the cake was when you became the Deputy-Governor, where you discharged yourself credibly.
I wish you a most memorable birthday. My prayer is that God Almighty grant you many more years, increased wisdom, robust heath and renewed vigour to continue to serve your country and humanity meritoriously.
Please accept the assurance of my highest regards.”
