Nigeria’s most effervescent monarch, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla 111, the Elegushi of Ikateland, on Wednesday, November 10, gushed over his beautiful, stylish and drop-dead gorgeous wife, Olori Sekinat Aramide (nee Ipaye) as she celebrated her 45th birthday. 

The Lagos monarch who has never been shy about publicly expressing his undying love for his wife, took to his Instagram page to celebrate her. Without mincing words, the royal father in a post on his Instagram page, praised and appreciated his queen for being an amazing human.

King Gushi, as he is fondly called, gushed: “It’s my Queen’s birthday!

It’s the 45th anniversary of your glorious and wonderful birth…I wouldn’t have met or benefited from all that you gave if you weren’t born on this day.

So, My QSE, I celebrate you today as I always do; it is undeniable my connection with you, unbelievable is how much I love you, and unbreakable is the bond that we have formed with each other. This bond, like Shakespeare said, “it never changes, it never fades, it outlasts death and admits no flaw”.

I thank you for all that was; all that is and all that will be.

Oba Elegushi and Olori Aramide are childhood sweethearts. They met during their undergraduate days in Lagos. The bond they shared was so strong back then that, their friends knew that it would inevitably end in marriage. Eighteen years down the line, the bond keeps waxing stronger and the couple seems determined to maintain that tempo of love. The union is blessed with three children.
