Eminent Nigerians Attend Burial of Sani Dangote In Kano

Eminent Nigerians including Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo were in Kano City, the capital of Kano State to witness the funeral of Alhaji Sani Dangote, the Vice President of Dangote Group.

Dangote who died in the United States of America on Sunday, November 14, after a protracted illness began his final journey home with a session of Islamic prayers at the palace of Emir of Kano.

His remains were ferried to the Dantata family cemetery, where the burial rites were performed in the presence of his family members.

Thereafter, guests and friends from across the country stormed the Dantata family home to commiserate with his elder brother, billionaire businessman, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.

Those sighted at the home include: Senate President, Senator Farouk Lawan, former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Governor Babagana Zullum, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, AbdulSamad Rabiu, Femi Otedola, Jim Ovia, Donald Duke, Prince Nduka Obaigbena, Gbenga Oyebode, Kashim Imam, Ernest Ebi, Prince Nduka Obaigbena, Fola Adeola Segun Sebanjo, and Asue Ighodalo.
