Buhari Celebrates Olu Jacobs For Accolades Earned On Global Stage

President Muhammadu Buhari has joined Nollywood actors, at home and abroad in celebrating stage and screen icon, Olu Jacobs, on his 80th birthday on July 11.

His congratulatory message was contained in a statement issued by Femi Adesina.

The president congratulated the Jacobs family and their guests on the happy event.

It is appropriate, in his opinion, to express gratitude to God for his protection, direction, and care.

Affirming the veteran actor’s contribution to the film business, Buhari noted how he had set a bar for the professionalism that had won him accolades and recognition on a global scale.

The Lifetime Achievement Awards given to Olu Jacobs by the African Movie Academy Awards in 2016 were among the honours, according to him.

He prayed that the Almighty God would grant him better health, longer life and steadfastness in service to the arts, God, and humanity.
