A couple of weeks back, famous society patriarch, Prince Moruff Ipaye, was thrown into mourning. His father, Alhaji Abdulahi Bello Ipaye died early this year, after a brief illness. He was aged 98.

The deceased was also patriarch of the Ipaye family of Lagos, and he was the grandfather of Oloori Aramide Sekinat Elegushi, the wife of Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, (Kusenla 111), the. Elegushi of Ikateland.

The final burial ceremony of Pa. Ipaye is slated to hold tomorrow, Sunday, 31 January. The event will take place at Yard158, Oregun Way, Ikeja, Lagos.
