Former military President, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, on Friday arrived Minna International airport in a chartered aircraft wearing a black kaftan and black cap to match.
Babangida arrived around 3:30pm from Germany in a chartered aircraft marked N550 DR after a medical trip during which he was rumoured dead in some media.
The former Military President was in company of his son, Aminu, and daughter, Halima, and was welcomed at the airport by his first son, Mohammed Babangida; former Governor of Niger State, Abdulkadir Kure; daughter, Aisha Babangida; Umar Ndanusa; and former federal Permanent Secretary, Idris Adamu Kuta.
Babangida was speculated to have died in Germany and that he was in critical condition and in coma.
He was immediately driven straight to his Hilltop mansion as there was assurance by one of his Personal Assistants that he will brief the press soon.
