Factional chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ali Modu Sheriff, held a closed door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta on Saturday.

The former Borno state governor visited the Nigerian leader at his hilltop mansion in Abeokuta.

Obasanjo served his two terms as president on the platform of the party, but left as a result of disagreement with the leadership of the opposition party.
