Nobel laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, said he has destroyed his Green Card as vowed in the rundown to the last US presidential election.
Soyinka had vowed that if Donald Trump won the US presidential election, he would destroy his Green Card.
Speaking with newsmen in Lagos on Friday, Soyinka said has completed all formalities of using the Green Card at the US Embassy in Lagos, where he was issued a non-immigrant visa, that enables him travel to US when he desires.
He said: “Since October last year, I have been in and out of US six times using the non-immigrant visa.”
