NASFAT Chief Missioner, Akinbode, Steps Down After 17 Years

Nasrul Lahi l Fatih Society (NASFAT) has announced that its Chief Missoner Alhaji Abdullah Akinbode has voluntarily stepped down from the position of Chief Missoner of the society after 17 years.
His exit was contained in his letter sent to the leadership of NASFAT on April 27.
A statement by NASFAT National Publicity Secretary Banji Busari said in line with Article 14.1.6 of the constitution of the society, the National Executive Council has approved the appointment of the Deputy Chief Missioner Alhaji Mahroof Onike Abdul Azeez as the Acting Chief Missioner pending the emergence of a substantive Chief Missioner.
Akinbode assumed the position in the year 2000, following the exit of the first Chief Missioner the late Alhaji Muniheem Taiye Tijani.
“We hereby acknowledge the immense contributions of Alhaji Akinbode in the growth and development of the society. We wish him the best in his future endeavours,” the statement said.
