How Billionaire Kidnapper, Evans Killed Stephanie Okereke’a Father-in-Law After Collecting N15m

Fresh facts keep emerging on notorious and devilish kidnapper, Chukwudubem Onwuamadike, aka Evans, since his final arrest on June 10, 2017 at his highbrow Magodo, Lagos residence.

The latest is his involvement in the kidnapping and subsequent death of star actress and producer, Stephanie Okereke’s first father in law, Pa James Iloenyosi. The octogenarian’s footballer son, Chikelue, was initially married to Stephanie until things fell apart. Now, the actress is married to one Linus Idahosa.

Pa Iloenyosi was kidnapped in Abagana, Anambra State on November 25, 2013. The staunch Catholic was on his way back from Mass when Evans and his gang pounced on him.

They got in touch with his family five days later asking for a N50 million ransom. They children eventually sent N15 million to them, but rather than allow the 86 year old man to return home, they went on torturing him till the man died.

The heartless gang, while still trying to extract more money from the family, dug a shallow grave in Nneyi village, Umueri, Anambra where they buried him, continuing with their negotiations with them. Two members of the robbery cum kidnap gang who were arrested before Evans, one Nonso and Awolowo, later led the family and Police men to the site. Then, the corpse was exhumed, and taken back home for proper burial.

Stephanie’s ex husband, Chikelue, a former Super Eagles player and ex international was said to have broken down and wept upon beholding what was left of his father while the sister who accompanied him fainted instantly.

Lending his voice to those insisting that Evans and his gang must be made to pay for their actions, Chikelue described the family’s tragedy as the most painful thing that anybody can experience. Adding that not even the minutest pity should be extended to Evans – who alongside his wife, Uche and five children have been soliciting for that.
