Glo Laffta Fest Returns To Lagos With Top Comedians

After a laughter-filled tour of 26 cities across the country, the Glo premium comedy show, Glo Lafta Fest, will this weekend berth at Ajah in Lagos State with top comedians including Bovi, Gordons, Seyi Law, Salvador from Uganda, De Don and MC Tagwaye.

The comedians who had put up spectacular performances in different cities, right from the inaugural edition of Glo Lafta Fest on the 16th of April, 2017 at the garden city of Port Harcourt will as usual treat residents of Ajah and environs to the best of jokes and entertainment.

The Glo Lafta Fest, which has been held in different areas in Lagos including Ikeja, Victoria Island, Ikorodu and FESTAC is returning to the Centre of Excellence for its 27th edition after another hilarious show in Makurdi, Benue state last week.

The Ajah edition which will be held at KFA Event Centre by Jakande Estate’s First Gate on Sunday will be anchored by the duo of Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim and Nollywood’s Mercy Johnson-Okojie and will parade Nollywood legends, Richard Mofe-Damijo and Kanayo O. Kanayo, as well as two of the best known actors in the Yoruba genres of Nollywood, Odunlade Adekola and Bolaji Amusan.

Globacom, in a statement in Lagos on Friday said “we treated the people of Ajah area of Lagos to an unforgettable evening of music entertainment when we took the Glo Mega Music Nationwide Tour to the same venue. This time, it is comedy like they have never seen it before. Our prospective and existing subscribers should keep a date for a time to remember.”

Two top comedians who will delight guests at Ajah on Sunday, Gordons and Bovi assured Lagosians of an evening of total laughter. According to Gordons, “I am turbo-charged to release fun as never before on Sunday. I call on fun lovers to find their way to that venue for an evening to remember”.

On his part, Bovi said: “I am going to be on Glo Laffta Fest stage in Ajah live on Sunday, together with some of the continent’s best comedians. Make it a date with us. Trust me; you don’t want to miss this!”

To attend the Ajah show, Glo subscribers who have used up to N2,000 credit in the last one month are required to text ‘LOL’ with the location name to the short code 240; for example, “LOL Ajah” to 240. Subscribers who do not meet this criterion but who wish to attend the show are requested to go to the event venue with N2000 to purchase airtime for their own use. They will then be entitled to a ticket.
