Hajia Aisha Mohammadu Buhari has joined the government and people of Nigeria in mourning Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Mohammadu Buhari.

Writing on her Instagram account on Saturday, Mrs Buhari consoled with the wife, Mrs.Kulu Abba Kyari and family of the deceased.

“From God Almighty we came and to him we shall return. I condole with Mrs. Kulu Abba Kyari and the entire family of Late Malam Abba Kyari over the death of their husband and father.
I pray that Allah (SWT) will forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdausi and give the family the fortitude and patience to bear the loss, Ameen.
While wishing all those infected a speedy recovery and I pray for an end to Covid-19 Pandemic,” she said.

It will be recalled that the late Chief of Staff is a prominent member of the cabal the wife of the President had repeatedly accused of hijacking her husband’s presidency.

Kyari died of COVID-19 on Friday. He was in his early 70s.
The Presidency confirmed his death in a statement early Saturday.

He was buried in Abuja on Saturday.
