When we reported the collaboration between American sportswear company Nike and Nigerian artist Laolu Senbanjo, the world was in awe of his artistic genius and what he has achieved using everything as his canvas. Weeks later he was in Equinox’s #CommitToSomething campaign and later he was making sneakers for basketball stars and famous singers. Beyoncé would not let everyone work with such talent without having a fair bite. More so, he likes painting on her girls.

imageThe multiple award-winning singer has contracted Laolu for ‘Lemonade’. Well, nobody knows what Lemonade is yet, but we will find out on April 23 at 9 p.m. on HBO.

Beyoncé released a teaser for the ‘world premiere event’ of ‘Lemonade’ on Instagram hours ago and we could see Laolu’s Sacred Art of the Ori in the extremely short video.

The Nigerian artist calls the Sacred Art of the Ori a Spiritually Intimate Experience. “It’s Cathartic for both me and my Muse. We Connect Our Minds, Bodies, and Souls on Higher Level. I paint their Spirit and Soul from that Connection. It Breathes Life into Us Both,” he wrote on his blog where he has videos of a couple of past works.
