President Muhammadu Buhari was absent at today’s meeting of the Federal Executive Council.
The meeting was presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The reason for Buhari’s absence is not made known yet.

It was not clear whether the president later joined the meeting.
This is the first time the president will be absent at the weekly FEC meeting since he returned to Nigeria from his medical vacation in London on March 10.

He had then said he would return to London for further check-ups.
