The Nigerian government has announced the cancellation this week’s meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC.

According to a statement on Monday in Abuja by Femi Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), the meeting will not hold due to the participation of President Muhammadu Buhari at the High-Level Meeting of the International Conference on Lake Chad Basin.

Mr Adesina said that a significant number of ministers will also attend the conference which will hold at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, for the better part of that day.
