Yesterday, Saturday, 10 November, 2018, Oloori Aramide Sekinat Elegushi, the beautiful wife of Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kusenla III), the Elegushi of Ikate and the youngest Oba in Lagos State, clocked 42

The event was commemorated with a Prayer session at the Ikate palace. The effervescent monarch and his stylish wife opted to keep this year’s celebration a low-key affair.

Celebrating the woman who means the world to him, Oba Elegushi shared pictures of his wife on his Instagram page, with the caption, “I feel so blessed to have such a beautiful and supportive life partner like you, sweetheart! I wish you true happiness on your birthday today and always my Queen, Olori Sekinat Aramide Elegushi.” 

Oloori Aramide, (née Ipaye), is a graduate of Accountancy from the University of Lagos. Blessed with an ebullient nature and warm and humble dispositions, Oloori Aramide had gradually built an enviable reputation as the most stylish queen in Nigeria. She always stands out whenever she steps out at an event. 

Oba Elegushi and Oloori Aramide are childhood sweethearts. They met during their undergraduate days in Lagos. The bond they shared was so strong back then that their friends knew that it would result into marriage. Almost fifteen years down the line, the bond keeps waxing stronger and the couple seems determined to maintain that tempo of love. The union is blessed with three children.
