Emirates Airlines, one of the Middle East carriers is offering increased prepaid excess baggage allowance to passengers flying with the airline from Africa Dubai, India/China and Ek Network.
According to the airline, the allowance takes effect from now till December 2017.
Emirates said passengers can buy additional bags per piece (32kg) up to maximum of 10 pieces from Africa to all Ek online destinations.
Its stated that the offer is applicable in all classes From Africa to Dubai, India/China, EK Network (except Dubai/India/China), at USD 150, USD 175, and USD 200 rate per Piece respectively.
Emirates pointed out that travel period for the allowance which terminates in 31st December, 2017 comes with a caveat.
The airlines said Tickets must be sold and issued within Africa; Extra Baggage is only applicable for travel originating from respective Africa POS; and Baggage must be through checked to the final destination.
It added that the sum of the dimensions of the baggage should not exceed 158cm; No single piece of baggage should weigh more than 32Kgs; EMD must be issued for excess baggage charges, and purchased prior to commencement of journey.
