On Sunday 15 April, 2018, Senator Binta Masi Garba, (Adamawa North Senatorial District), clocked 50. A Thanksgiving Service was held at International Praise Church, Yola, Adamawa State. 

The event was attended by Vice President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Secretary to the Government of the  Federation, Barr. Boss Gida  Mustapha and many others
