Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele and his predecessor in office, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, at the weekend snubbed each other during the 5th coronation anniversary of the Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti, Oba Ajibade Alabi, at Ilawe Ekiti in Ekiti West local government.
Before the governor arrived the ceremony, held at Corpus Christi College, Ilawe Ekiti, Fayemi, had already seated on the high table with his wife, Erelu Bisi.

When Fayose, who was heralded by the chanting of Osoko, his political acronym, arrived, he headed straight to the high table, where only Mrs Fayemi rose to greet the governor with her husband permanently held to his seat.

This has further fueled insinuation that all was not well between the two political gladiators.

Fayose recently accused Fayemi of plotting to seek reversal of the April 4, 2015 Supreme Court judgment, which validated the election held on June 21, 2014.

Fayose, while addressing the guests, rained curses on those plotting to remove him from office, saying God has promised to disgrace them before the end of the year.
