Fire has gutted the famous Sabon-Gari market in Kano state just few months after the market recorded a major fire outbreak where properties whorth huge amount of money were destroyed.

Daily Trust gathered that the fire started from France road’s section of the market where funiture and other household items are sold.

The fire started in the night and could not be put under control as at the time of filing in this report.

Security personnel comprising police, Army, civil sefence and vigilante were deployed to the market.

Fire service officials and traders could be seen battling with the fire this morning when this reporter visited the scene of the incident around 6am.
