…Star Actress Shuns Burial

Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof, the estranged husband of star actress, Funke Akindele, is bereaved. He lost his father, Pa Morufu Ayanbola Oloyede, who died on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.

The octogenarian was buried at his New Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos residence on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, according to Muslim rites.

Family members and a handful of friends of the son of the deceased were at hand during the The burial ceremony was attended by close family members and friends of Almaroof and his siblings- Taiwo and Kikelomo.

Although, Almaroof’s former wife, Funke Akindele was conspicuously absent at the burial, there is so much expectation that she may attend the grand finale of the event, which has been slated to hold on Saturday, August 29, 2015.

Funke Akindele, a.k.a Jenifa, and Kehinde Almaroof, an estate developer, got married in May 2012. By 2013, the couple went their separate ways, claiming irreconcilable differences.

Almaroof, who is popularly called Kenny Doo, is the son of the former Iyaloja of Cairo Market, Oshodi. He had been previously married to two women- Adetoun and Modinat, before his marriage to the popular Yoruba actress
