On the 5th of June, 2018, Gbenga Adeyinka and his Laffmattazz team payed a courtesy visit to the office of the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Ondo state Hon Olurimisi Ismaila towards the upcoming Laffmattazz live in Akure event come June 12, 2018, in Akure Ondo State.

The team emphasised the importance of the recent developments in the Nigeria Comedy system and its current impact on the southwestern region as a whole. The team also discussed the significant role the office of the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism has to play in beefing up the entertainment life in Akure and Ondo state as a whole. In the meeting, the team put forward several recommendations and requests to the Honourable Commissioner and his office alongside ongoing implementations in ensuring the indigenous acts are not left out and ensuring the audience get a good run for their money, including:

* A high level visit by the Honourable Commissioner to the event.

* To provide support and technical assistance to the success of the event.

* Involvement of indigenous acts to showcase their talents both musical and comedy.
* A-list musical acts in Nigeria on board.
* A-list comedy acts in Nigeria on board
* Maximum entertainment at its peak

Ismaila confirmed the commitment of his office to support the upcoming event.

Laffmattazz also took the opportunity to present a plaque to the Honourable Commissioner hereby endorsing the event and looking forward to working together.
