Red is back in fashion this season. The colour’s long been associated with power and strength.

The Queen of African television, Mo Abudu, understands this aphorism perfectly well. She was among the dignitaries who attended the traditional wedding ceremony between Shalewa Hassan Odukale and Nonso Osakwe, last Easter Monday, 2 April.

Abudu and the bride’s mother, Bola Hassan-Odukale, have been close friends for over 30 years.

Abudu, accompanied by her best friend, Marian Omatsone, looked stunning in a red outfit, designed by Lanre DaSilva Ajayi. The outfit is classic LDA-tailored, flattering and demure.
