Pastor Ifeanyi Adefarasin, wife of the senior pastor of House on the Rock Church, Paul Adefarasin, shared some photos to celebrate of her mother, Gisa Quent Mordi who turned 80 on Monday, April 17, 2023. 

In the pictures posted, Adefarasin is seen with her five sisters – Jane Mordi, Grace Onosode, Ndidi Osakwe, Ifechukwu Patrick-Onyeka, and Nkiru Adekoya, posing for photographs with their German mum, Gisa Quent Mordi. 

Gisa Quent is the widow of Professor Victor Nonyelum Mordi, a pathologist par excellence, whose groundbreaking works in pathology and histology remain unmatched. 

Adefarasin captioned her post, “Blessed @ 80 years old- Her children rise up and call her blessed (Proverbs 31:28).

“Grateful to the Lord for the blessing of an amazing mother.”

Meine Geliebte Mutter,

The passing of time has certainly been gracious to you Mami. It is hard to believe that eight decades have passed and you are still all of what I remember you as a child.

I am grateful to have come from your bloodline because your strenght, your faith and your heart has made me more the woman I am today.

Your candour is what set us girls straight and on the right path, your quiet humour is what makes you such a delight to be with, your intelligence still intrigues your grandchildren, your dedication to a cause is what has earned you respect across different platforms, and your endless generosity to family and friends alike are what make you such a phenomenal human.

Today, alongside my dear sisters and many other daughters you have raised and mentored, I pray that you have an unforgettable year of God’s faithfulness, graciousness and that His massive love continues to encompass you today and forever.

May our Heavenly Father Who has been your help, continue to bless you with the blessings of heaven above and may this next decade be one of ease, rest, health, strength and peace on all sides.
