IPOB Dismisses Fugitive Leader, Kanu, Accuses Him of Embezzlement

The fugitive leader of the pro-secession group, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, has been fired and accused of plucking the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).
Reports say he has been replaced by Mr. Ezenwachukwu Sampson Okwudili.
“Kanu privately raised £ 14 million and another $ 22 million to buy property abroad in his name and that of his father, Mr. Igwe Israel Kanu, in a clear case of monkey dey baboon dey chop,” the indictment alleged.
“Kanu turned our collective struggle into a profitable enterprise for him and his father,” Radio Biafra said.
The pirate radio of the groups that returned to the air said that Kanu had also been fired as the Director of the Radio.
The radio program started with the announcer who gave her name as Miss. Ifeoma Okorafor.
She stated that the radio was back on the air and that IPOB was restructuring and announced the dismissal of Kanu.
Kanu has not been publicly seen since he fled the state of Abia after the army raided his family compound a few months ago.
The reasons that the Radio Biafra announcer gave for the elimination of Kanu included his supposed customization of the Biafra struggle and derailment of the central objectives of the IPOB as a grassroots movement.
He was also accused of inciting IPOB members towards the violence that led to the deaths of many innocent youth in Onitsha, Aba and Umuahia, an action that IPOB said was “totally unacceptable and extremely irresponsible.”
“Therefore, the money contributed by young Igbo entrepreneurs and workers around the world is being picked up and converted by a man and his father while pretending to sacrifice himself for the cause.”
Following his release from detention in April 2017, the IPOB explained that Kanu was expected to move for the release of his accomplices and fellow detainees: Messers Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.
“These are our brothers who were arrested at the same time with him and should not be forgotten.” We hereby demand your release.
“Kanu, since his release, has never spoken of them or asked for the release of these our freedom fighters, instead he has been collecting leadership titles and having a messianic arrogance that even allowed pure blood Igbomen. kneel and kiss his feet.
“Kanu discarded the original meaning of our collective struggle for personal gain and vain glorification.” IPOB believes in democracy as a solid foundation of any modern state, the rule of law, and will always reject violence in all its ramifications & # 39; # 39;
The action against Kanu is visible on the Twitter page of Radio Biafra.
According to Jubril Gawat, “Radio Biafra announces the dismissal of Nnamdi Kanu as Director accusing him of raising £ 14m and another $ 22m to buy property abroad on behalf of the movement.”
