Kunle Afolayan Production, in partnership with Massimo will host this month’s edition of the culturally conscious initiative, KULTURECENTRIK today, Friday, 28 April 2017, at the Poolside, Lagos Airport Hotel Ikeja, Lagos State.

This initiative is aimed at the sustenance of the arts and culture as well as the preservation of our values.

Today’s show will feature the celebration of the Nigerian arts and culture, as well as, celebrate the great Lagos State in the celebration of her Golden Jubilee. Thus, the theme of tonight’a show is LAGOS AT 50.

Spearheading the night will be award winning filmmaker, actor, producer, and honored member of the Board of Lagos State, Council of the Arts and Culture, Mr. Kunle Afolayan.

KAP and Massimo will host all the attendees to a richly themed night of Yoruba culture and sensibilities that will feature live music from the main act of the day Abass Akande Obesere, Kent Edunjobi, MC of the night Gbenga Adeyinka The First, the sensational female guitarist Adaba and lots more. There will be Yoruba food, Palmwine; traditional dances and drums which will include, Bata, Iya-Ilu, Gangan, Dundun, Omele, Saworo, Sekere; cultural figures like the Egungun; with a conscious touch of dignitaries for networking and many other elixirs hitherto missing on the Lagos Mainland scene.

The event starts at 6pm till midnight, and the gate fee is N1000
