Justice Mohammad Garuba of the Federal Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos on Friday upheld the judgment of Honourable Justice I.N. Buba of the Federal High Court, sitting at Ikoyi, Lagos.

Mr Buba on February 9, 2016 that convicted and sentenced Ngene Linus Chibuike who was prosecuted by the EFCC to two years imprisonment and also made him forfeit the undeclared sum of $2,506,998 to the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The convict was arrested on October 8, 2015 at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos during an outbound clearance for a journey to China en-route Addis Ababa, Ethiopia with an undeclared sum of $2,506,998.
