Dr. Ozak Esu has joined the lineup of Nigerians in diaspora bringing repute to Nigeria after she was recognized by The Daily Telegraph, in collaboration with Women’s Engineering Society. On the 5th of July, she was named one of UK’s Top Female Engineers under 35 years. Dr. Esu was picked from a pool of over 500 nominees, to celebrate the notable achievements made by women in the engineering sector.
In her acceptance speech, Dr. Esu mentioned that the energy problem Nigeria is facing was what inspired her to study Electronic and Electrical Engineer. “I am sincerely honoured to make this list of truly inspirational engineers shaping our modern-day society. Without seeming dismissive of my hard work, and passion for sustainable engineering development, my contributions to engineering are possible due to the tremendous support I continue to receive,” she said.
