OldEnglish Boss, Akogun Lanre Alfred Rewards Staff With Car Gift

In a bold move to reward excellence and dedication to duty, the CEO of OldEnglish Supermarket and veteran media mogul, Akogun Lanre Alfred, has given a car to his longest standing staff member, Obafemi Ajayi, who is fondly called Kanu, as a birthday gift.

The noble gesture surprised the staff members of the company, including the recipient, because no one saw this gesture coming. This, it is believed, will spur other employees to imbibe the virtues of loyalty and dedication, as displayed by Ajayi, over the years.

Lanre Alfred has made it a tradition to reward his staff for their loyalty, continuous dedication and hard work.

The car gift was presented by one of the company’s directors, Mr. Kayode Alfred, the CEO of Aristocrat Clothing, who was equally in a joyous mood as he celebrated with Ajayi on his birthday.

Ajayi, who is fondly called Kanu, was full of smiles and profound appreciation to his boss. He promised to be more committed and dedicated in his work pursuits.

The Old English Supermarket is a rare combination of visionary enterprise, diligent service, public affection and love and poised to be the largest retailer in Nigeria and Africa, with increasing numbers of associates to meet the needs of a growing customer base every week. The super store can also be accessed online or through mobile devices.
