Legendary Nollywood actor, Olu Jacobs, has received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the just concluded Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF).

At the AFRIFF Globe Awards 2021, the veteran actor was honoured with the Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution to the Nigerian movie industry.

Gracing the event, Jacobs was accompanied by his wife, Joke Silva, who took to her verified Instagram account to congratulate him. 

Sharing a picture of her husband with his award, Silva wrote, “Lifetime achievement award winner, Sir Olu Jacobs”. 

Also, iconic thespian, Richard Mofe-Damijo took to his verified Instagram account to congratulate his senior colleague whom he fondly refers to as Uncle J.

Sharing a picture of the veteran actor, RMD wrote, “Congratulations my very own Uncle J. A well deserved Life Time Achievement Award. Because of you, I am. Pathfinder you are. I celebrate you and your family this morning.
