Senate on Tuesday confirmed receiving a letter from Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, requesting the confirmation of Justice Walter Onnoghen as Chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN).

Senate President Bukola Saraki, read the letter on resumption of plenary after a four-week suspension of sitting.
