Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Honourable Steve Ayorinde, has added another feather to his cap. He bagged a Special Recognition award during the 40th anniversary celebration of Radio Lagos.
The very colourful event took place at ‘The Marquee Hail’, at Radio Lagos/ Eko FM, Ikeja. It was attended by the Lagos former governor, Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande, who founded the reputable broadcasting institution and Mr Dele Alake, the former Lagos Commisssioner for Information and Strategy and many other dignitaries.
Radio Lagos is a foremost promoter of indigenous language and culture. Its exemplary performance over the years beautifully reassures that our cultural essence as a people, even in a smart mega city like Lagos, can and must endure.
The Ayo Sotonwa-led cultured and forthright management team and staff, has been applauded for taking the radio station to lofty height.
