Billionaire businessman and politician, Senator Buruji Kashamu, has reportedly recovered from Coronavirus, a reliable source informed Global Excellence magazine.

The famous philanthropist who was said to have gone into self-isolation moments after testing positive few days ago, was on Sunday reportedly confirmed negative for the deadly virus.

It was gathered that Kashamu, who represented Ogun East senatorial district between 2015 and 2019, had earlier developed some complications in the course of treatment at the Lagos isolation centre, having discovered to be diabetic and nursing high blood pressure.

The source added that the doctors, who found him having a high degree of resistance to diseases, confirmed his negative status after running a series of tests and finally moved him away from the ventilator on Sunday.

“He should be released from the hospital before the weeks runs out, barring unforeseen challenges,” the source posits.
