Shell Nigeria Appoints Elohor Aiboni As First Female MD

Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO) has appointed Elohor Aiboni as its first female Managing Director.

Prior to her appointment, she served as the first female Asset Operations Manager of Bonga, a DeepWater Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) facility operated by Shell in Nigeria.

An exceptional professional, Aiboni comes across as one of those outstanding ones who effectively personify the resourcefulness and resilience that Nigerian women are known for. She has over 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and has worked on Project to Asset Handover, Operations of Oil and Gas facilities with HSE, cross-discipline, cross-functional units and multi-operating unit exposure with great interpersonal skills.

Aiboni has held several roles in Production Operationd, Project/Asset Management, Operations Readiness/Assurance, including functioning as a business adviser to the executive Vice President, Sub Sahara Africa and Third-Party Interface management across several assets in Nigeria and Kazakhstan. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Benin, and a master’s degree in Integrated Environmental Management from the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
