The Founder of MMAWT legacy initiative and wife of the Sokoto State Governor, Hajiya Maryam Mairo Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, yesterday attended the monthly prayer gathering (Mu’u’tamal) of Muslim women at the Sheik Isa Mafara Islamic Center located at intermediate quarters in Sokoto.
The prayer which holds at the end of every month is focused on peace and continuous harmonious coexistence amongst the people of Sokoto state and Nigeria in general.
While speaking to the gathering, the wife of the governor urged the women to caution their children to shun political thuggery and all other delinquent behaviors capable of breaching the peace and harmony being enjoyed in the state.
