Former vice-president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has joined Nollywood and professional actors, at home and abroad, to celebrate stage and screen icon, Olu Jacobs, on his 80th birthday, July 11, 2022.

Atiku in a statement he personally authored, described Olu Jacobs as a living legend.

He noted that the actor impacted the world in his stead.

Atiku said: “Today, I celebrate a freshly minted Octogenarian, Sir Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs (Olu Jacobs). You have seen the world change tremendously and imparted it in your stead. You have been an inspiration to many, a highly respected and honorable person.

“A living legend and an exemplary citizen. Congratulations on eight decades of life! – AA.”
